Financial Controller Services

Many established businesses cannot afford to employ a full-time Financial Controller.

A Financial Controller will generally act as a right-hand person to the business owner. He/she will supervise the bookkeeping work, ensure financial transactions are being done correctly and on time, report to the owner/board on the financial status of the business on a regular basis and recommend actions to help improve the profitability of the business. He/she will also ensure that the accounts are kept well and up to date and ready for delivery to the Company's accountant at the year-end.

Business Support Services offer a number of Financial Controller services to clients, depending on the client's needs:

Monthly Financial Controller Package includes some of the following services:
Review of bookkeepers work
Checking VAT and PAYE records
Review of accounts
Processing of monthly stock and depreciation journals where appropriate
Correction of identified entry errors
Extraction of monthly management accounts
Chairing of monthly management meeting
Preparation and circulation of "Action Points" from monthly meeting

Quarterly Financial Controller Package involves the same process as the Monthly Financial Controller Package only on a quarterly basis

Year End Audit - File Preparation

This involves the preparation of the year-end audit file for submission to the auditor. This work is done in conjunction with the bookkeeper and should reduce the amount of work to be done by the auditor.
